PAi's Team Building and Summer Outing
April 23, 2010 marked the PAi's Teambuilding and summer outing at Loreland farm Resort Antipolo, a one of a kind experience which aims to uphold "The Power of One". Composed of an indoor and outdoor workshop it tackled the importance of teamwork that pertains to our everyday workplace. Taking employees out of the office help groups break down political and personal barriers; eliminate distractions; and have fun.
Facilitated by Mr. Arcie Mallari from Monark Foundation Inc., the indoor workshop helped teammates create good communication and a better understanding of each other, motivate talents and perform at our best individually, which help us prepare for group activities that need countless movements.
During the debriefing, carefully crafted questions led participants to fully understand the impact of their learning. They were encouraged to draw parallel direction and make the connections to their relationships with colleagues. Each group moved on unison, lifting, pulling at the same time. For us it was an experiential learning tool, for the body, mind and spirit. Dominated by leadership, everybody were surprised and impressed with the results, even today.
After an energy draining day, it was a night for relaxation and leisure bonding with colleagues and teammates on the pool side. Let the child like attitude come up.
Truly this Teambuilding activity showed performers to move in inspiring mission, and this event is remembered as a high impact learning experience.
Like the song goes: " And I imagine you and me, just taking shots at what we see so let the wall go down and we can try it again cause nobody can stop us now Don't be afraid, Cause I'll meet you halfway"
