After going through the WAVE, PowerAsia knew it was renewed, reborn, and better than ever.

The whole team of PowerAsia has successfully passed through the WAVE (Work Attitude and Values Enhancement) seminar workshop last March 2-3, 2012 at Las Brisas Resort in Antipolo. The workshop aims to bring together individual attitudes and values to achieve the organization’s purpose which reflected in its vision and mission on the back of a strong core values.

WAVE program enabled employees to discover their respective attitudes and values both personally and professionally. The evident diversity of values among the participants and the company was brought together during the two day activity; hence a unified, refreshed, motivated, and rejuvenated organization emerged. Inspired spirits dwell among the participants, as everyone was able to consider their responsibility to others in the workplace and on how each plays a vital role in the efficient operation and productivity of the organization. Initiative, leadership and decision making qualities for both work and personal system were equally challenged in different activities set out in the WAVE, which allowed each teammate to realize and deal with their own reservations and weaknesses.

During the event, Boss Rod, the general manager of PowerAsia took everyone back in time as he told the history of PowerAsia and FG Wilson. Another significant occasion of the seminar was the unveiling of the organization’s renewed, highly comprehensible, and more committed vision and mission statement, which was presented by Ma’am Menette, the Vice President for Finance of PowerAsia, while the launching of the company’s reorganized strong core values was discussed for teammates by Sir Jan-B, the founder of PowerAsia. Mr. Louie Banson, PowerAsia’s president also graced the event.

The revelations does not only completely define PowerAsia’s purpose but also intensify its position to be a globally competitive company with its thrust of relying heavily on its people, best practices, products, and services as it remains to be one of the important players in the growing and highly competitive market.
